Do you have a school-age child (ages 12 & under)? Meet with other parents to discuss, share and connect. You will learn about information & resources, educational advocacy and become empowered. This group will meet on the first Thursday of each month from 9:30-11:00am at The Arc of South Norfolk.

Teenage Transition Support Group
Parents of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and/or ASD meet with other parents to informally share experiences & information regarding the issues you may face during the teenage years (ages 13 to 18). Held the second Thursday of each month from 10:00am-12:00pm.

Dads who have children with ASD & related Developmental Disabilities meet regularly during the school year to connect, learn information & provide mutual support around issues unique to fathers. Held on a Tuesday night each month from 7:15-9:00pm @ The Arc of South Norfolk in the Lifeworks’ end conference room. Facilitator: Jerry Jacobs, parent and Social Worker.
