Abel Therapeutic Day Habilitation Center
To All Arc Day Habilitation and Lifeworks Members: The Boston Marathon may be postponed until September but the Day Habilitation Marathon is moving forward! The Arc of South Norfolk Day Habilitation program wants to invite you to join our Marathon Challenge. Attached you will find the marathon announcement, a data tracking sheet and a map of the Boston Marathon route showing each mile marker. Anytime someone walks, strolls or exercises for 20 minutes you earn a mile on the marathon route, 10 minutes earns you a half mile and so on! We recommend that you print off a map and data sheet for each participant and start your way to the finish line! You can show progress by highlighting each mile completed to show progress. Upon completion, you will not only earn the bragging rights that you completed the marathon but a true self accomplishment. We will also honor all the marathon participants once we return to program! (Keep your data sheets!) Feel free to e-mail with any questions or for any additional guidance. On your mark, get set, GO! Diane and the Arc Day Habilitation Team
